Ireland's Small Greens
Ireland's Small Greens: Golf, Pubs, Lodging & Attractions is
a 328-page guide to 77 of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland’s famous
and not-so-famous links and parkland courses, including Killarney, Cork, Tralee,
Carne, Enniscrone, Ballybunion, etc. Besides golf, Ireland’s Small
Greens highlights more than 90 family friendly eateries (pubs,
restaurants, tearooms), 46 lodgings including some of Ireland’s best Bed and
Breakfasts, and more than 100 of Ireland’s most interesting geological,
historical, cultural, religious, and tourist attractions. The book begins with
a chapter of insights to help you plan a trip, including notes on driving,
navigating, and what you need for golf. The books ends with a chapter entitled
“The Best of Ireland,” which ranks courses, pubs, attractions, and presents five
ten-day itineraries to get you started on your own
planning. More than 100
photos help you to see the beauty of Ireland and its golf courses.
