Scotland's Hidden
Gems
Scotland's Hidden Gems: Golf Courses
and Pubs,
is a 200-page description of some
of Scotland's best, but often overlooked, golf courses, and the pubs/restaurants
and tourist attractions near them. St. Andrews Old Course, Royal Troon,
Turnberry, Carnoustie, and Loch Lomand aren't included in the book.
Scotland's Hidden Gems, instead, highlights 76 fabulous out-of-the-way
Scotland Golf courses, where the locals play and you can get a game without mortgaging your
home or booking a year in advance. It also recommends more than 55 of
Scotland's interesting pubs or
restaurants featuring tasty, inexpensive fare and Scottish atmosphere.
And, for those days when you don't golf (YES, it rains in Scotland!), we provide
details on almost 60 of Scotland's best tourist attractions including castles, abbeys, and other
Scotland Historic sites.
The Scotland guide book also presents insights and
helpful tips about golfing, driving, and touring in Scotland. Finally,
Scotland's Hidden Gems suggests three ten-day itineraries and some Best
Bets, to help you plan your trip.
